SLCs School Collaboration Program
The SLCs School Collaboration Program aims to build an inclusive community within the mainstream schools where the teachers, parents, children and other people in the schools can support and accommodate the different needs of the special needs students where they focus on their ability and not their disability. This inclusive community of teachers, children and parents will then lead to an ‘Inclusive Jakarta’. Currently, we have a few schools like Beacon Academy, Tzu Chi school, British School Jakarta, NJIS etc. who have taken this initiative and have opened doors towards sensitizing their students towards special needs individuals.
In future, SLC envisions to build a school where the differently abled individuals grow, play and learn along with their peers.
